It was enjoyable trying to pick books to fit in to slightly different groups than the regular reading challenges, and any excuse to overuse emojis is ok by me geek

So here is my list –  I completed….11

  • Dreadnought by April Daniels – transgender main character

heart– read a romance/contemporary

  • The Story of Us by Dani Atkins – really enjoyed this – been a while since I read a soppy romance

scream– read a thriller or horror

  • Let the Dead Speak by Jane Casey – introduced me to a detective I loved – now I have to find the other 6 in this series

robot– read a futuristic/sci-fi book

bookstack– freebie! Read any book

baby– read a 2016/2017 release

  • Furthermore by Tahereh Mafi – Alice in wonderland meets Enid Blyton with added chaos and heart!

cry-sad– read a cry-worthy book

gritted-teeth– read a book you’ve been anticipating

  • Flawed by Cecelia Ahern – My favourite book of the month… loved everything about it!

3 o clock.png– read a book in under 24 hours

eyes– read a book you’ve been seeing everywhere

  • Three Dark Crowns by Kendare Blake – heard so much about this, seen it all over booktube, and wasn’t disappointed. A really good series opener….


WOW! what a month! what a great challenge, an what a great bunch of books!!!
